I am noticing that Google seems to not even care if they exist anymore. I was developing a website a few weeks ago live (saving each change I made to the server). The website was completely visible. I had nothing but the empty meta tags in place. It was ranked #2 in Google. I knew this because I had GoogleAnalytics installed on it and I was wondering how it was receiving traffic from Google and Yahoo organic listings.<BR/><BR/>I believe it has more to do with landing page content and title utilization then anything else anymore. Keywords have been molested for so long that I think the search engines find them less relevant anymore.
